The Most Fun I've Ever Had...

The Most Fun I've Ever Had...

Today is January 31, and at the risk of failing on one of my resolutions (3 Blog Posts Per Month), I'm re-posting something I shared a few years when Olivia was 2 years old and Julia still very much so a baby. Reflecting over this post, I realize it is more true today that it was even then to me.

August 7, 2014

At just 29 years old I've done some pretty cool stuff. I've driven fast cars, graduated from both high school and college. I've gotten married to the love of my life. I've bungee jumped, went white water rafting multiple times, and flown an ultra light (a motorized hang-glider). I've been to Disney World, I've spent time in incredible countries like Thailand, Cambodia, Jamaica, Mexico and Nicaragua. I've swam with sting rays over a coral reef in the Cayman Islands. I've seen the incredible and ancient temples of Ankgor Wat in Cambodia and the royal palaces of Bangkok. I've ridden an elephant, carried a python, and have been attacked by a turkey, a monkey, and an opossum  before (separate occasions). I've walked around Mt. Rushmore. I've met some great people, even famous to a degree.

I've done lots of cool things and been to lots of cool places.

But I just played hide-n-seek with an almost 2 year old girl named Olivia. She spent thirty minutes running around the house finding me yelling, "There's Daddy!"

And that my friends, is the coolest thing I've ever done.... That's as good as it gets.... Up until now, at least!
